The rules are basically: player one moves all his men, other player moves all his men, everyone shoots at same time, everyone in contact rolls percentile dice on a table that compares weapons, axe vs sword etc. With modifiers for being a veteran or a novice. Oh, wow. That actually sounds really good. I'm looking for simple, and this sounds like it would suit the bill. Lion or dragon rampant would be my choice, simple enough but will also probably take you 10 mins to create a list with whatever figures you have on hand.
Fair enough, we usually only play it with about 3 small-ish units a side so I guess the term skirmish is relative.
